Abstract
In the present study, the Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles was done by using Azadirachta indica bark extract where 90ml of 1mM silver nitrate was added to 10ml of prepared aqueous bark extract. The change in colour from brown to greenish indicates the formation of silver nanoparticles; it is then further confirmed and analyzed by UV-visible spectroscopy which has shown maximum absorbance at 417nm. The antioxidant assay of synthesized silver nanoparticles was investigated by the DPPH method and the percentage of Free radical scavenging activity was measured up to 83.7% for synthesized silver nanoparticles. The size of synthesized silver nanoparticles was investigated by SEM analysis and the particle size was determined to be 114nm. FTIR was performed for the detection of different functional groups based on the different peaks obtained
