Abstract
The high demand for energy and the constant depletion of fossil fuels are causing us to shift our focus to renewable energy sources, which are not only the unlimited energy source of the future, but also environmentally friendly and environmentally sustainable. Solar energy is the oldest form of renewable energy. The main purpose of a solar inverter is to convert the variable direct current (DC) output of a photovoltaic (PV) panel to alternating current (AC) used for home applications. Solar inverters have special features customized for photovoltaic arrays and maximum power point tracking systems. While the devices run during the day, the device charges the battery as the solar energy can only be used during the day, while at night the battery keeps the devices running until the next morning. The output power of the designed inverter is 100 W with an input of 12 V and an output of 220 V with a modified sine wave.
