Abstract
Main purpose of this project Take The attendance with 95% accuracy and save the data of attendance in the database. And the attendance system was introduced in order to maintain a discipline and to enable the students to gain immense knowledge in schools, colleges and universities. Managing attendance can be a daunting task when applied through traditional methods like calling roll call or taking student's signature. There are two traditional techniques to mark the attendance of students in a particular class. One of them is to call the roll number and the other is for the students to sign on a piece of paper in front of their roll number. To solve this problem, a smart and authenticated attendance system needs to be implemented. Generally, Biometrics like Face Recognition, Fingerprint, DNA, Retina, Iris Recognition, Hand Geometry etc. are used to execute Smart Attendance System.
