Abstract
The aim of this research is to analyze Romanticism and Eco Criticism in Wordsworth poetry. The researcher analysed the negligence of human towards nature through Wordsworth poetry and the possibility of human to return to nature. The present study explores how study of wordsworth poetry evolves down the ages from romanticism to Eco criticism. Since this research is theoretical in nature, it depended primarily on reviewing already published works on the topic. The researcher consulted a significant number of published references on the topic. Other sources of information including the internet were consulted this subject. The researcher concludes, there is a basic difference in romantic and Eco critical attitude to nature, it must be admitted that the important facts of eco criticism are found in romanticism and also nature is at its best in Wordsworth’s poetry that treats it not as a background but as a guiding soul of mankind.
