Ethnobotany is the study of how people of a particular culture and region make use of indigenous plants. Plants have been used for treatment of diseases for thousands years and grabbed the important place in health industry. In India rural and tribal areas are more dependent on plants for food, shelter and also for medicines. Folk medicines are intensified nowadays, the plants parts are collected and furtherly studied phytochemically. Pharmaceuticals industries are more into this, they are trying to bring the plant in the medicine by using its extract or the type needed. Tribals uses this plants for medicines in treating various diseases and it has been made the healthcare system strong and effective in the area. Medicineman is the person who has this knowledge of plants and there uses.
