Abstract
Six glossy parent lines namely GS25, GS36, GS46, GS53, GS61, GS81 selected as lines for crossing with testers namely Rohini, Ashirwad, NRCDR02, and NRCHB101 in line x tester fashion. The resultant 24 F1 hybrids along with six parents were evaluated in randomized block design with two replications during 2020 Rabi season. Data recorded for eighteen characters. All the crosses show heterosis for all characters. ). In respect to per plant seed weight, 18 crosses showed significant and positive heterosis over BP. 20 crosses showed positive significant heterosis over MP.22 crosses showed positive significant heterosis over check. Four crosses depicted negative significant over BP for days to maturity. Four crosses showed negative significant heterosis over MP. Six showed negative significant heterosis over check.
