L’objectif de ce travail était d’analyser empiriquement l’effet de la qualité des institutions sur la croissance économique en RD Congo. A travers l’application d’un modèle ARDL (Auto Regressive Distributed Lag), plusieurs renseignements importants sont ressortis des analyses. Ces dernières ont démontré globalement que les institutions agissent favorablement sur la croissance économique en RD Congo mais leur effet est statistiquement non-significatif. En effet, ces résultats ont donc mis en évidence la nécessité des réformes institutionnelles. Les réformes sont indispensables car elles vont permettre de renforcer l’efficacité des institutions politiques et économiques du pays. Ce qui est une option économiquement rationnelle, car seules les institutions de qualité sont un ingrédient indispensable pour la promotion de la croissance économique et du développement de la RD Congo.
