| Abstract: | In this work we present a simple relation for mass stopping power (in MeVcm2/g) of alpha particles in energy range 1-200MeV in some biological human body substances such as Water, Tissue, Muscles and bones. The proposed relations have been described in terms of alpha particle energy only. A good agreements have been found between our simplified values for mass stopping power of alpha particle in Water, Tissue, Muscles and bones and that of the data of the international commission of radiation units and measurements (ICRU-1993). |
