Abstract: The "Fire detection using thermal camera" project investigates how to improve fire detection systems through the use of thermal imaging technology. Detecting fires quickly is often a challenge for traditional methods, particularly in difficult environments where visibility is limited or smoke is present. Because they can detect heat signatures linked to fires even in unfavorable conditions due to their sensitivity to infrared radiation, thermal cameras present a promising solution. The goal of this project is to create a reliable fire detection system by utilizing machine learning models, sophisticated algorithms, and thermal camera capabilities. Real-time thermal data interpretation by the system will enable it to differentiate between possible fire incidents and typical environmental variations. Through the analysis of thermal patterns, the system will be able to deliver timely and precise alerts, allowing for quick action to prevent damage and guarantee safety. The outcomes of this research endeavor have the potential to revolutionize fire safety across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, and residential settings. The integration of thermal camera technology with intelligent algorithms promises to set new standards in fire prevention and protection, contributing to enhanced safety measures for society at large.
